Care Instructions

Keeping your PU rubber yoga mat in top condition is essential for maintaining its grip, comfort, and longevity.

Here are some effective maintenance tips to ensure your yoga mat stays in prime shape:

1. Oil Resistance, Avoid Direct Sunlight and Rain
The fine pores on the surface of the yoga mat make it volatile and prone to stains, especially oil stains—including body oil.
To reduce contamination, please avoid contact with oily substances on its surface. Before use, ensure that your hands and feet are clean and free of oil. As the base material is natural rubber, which is biodegradable and naturally oxidizes, exposure to direct sunlight and rain will accelerate its oxidation and damage.

2. Do Not Roll Up Inwards
When storing the mat, if you roll it up inwards, the PU layer may develop irreversible wrinkles, leading to cracks between the surface and bottom layers. Please make sure to roll it up with the PU side facing outwards for storage.

3. Cleaning Instructions
Do not use cleaning products containing tea tree oil or any oily ingredients.
It is recommended to use a mixture of water with a drop of dishwashing liquid. Apply the mixture with a cloth, wipe it off, remove excess water, and then air-dry it in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not allow any residual liquid to remain on the surface of the yoga mat.

4. Ventilation
After cleaning or use, please place the mat in a well-ventilated, shady area with the PU side facing upwards to air-dry naturally.

5. About Odor
The yoga mat may have a slight odor when first used. This is the natural smell of the rubber and is safe and harmless. Please use it with confidence.
For those who are sensitive to odors, it is recommended to lay the mat flat in a cool, well-ventilated area for a few days—the smell will gradually dissipate.

6. Temperature Considerations
During winter, when temperatures drop, please do not place the mat near heat sources (such as floors with underfloor heating, stoves, etc.) to prevent aging, sticking, and damage that could affect its normal use.

7. Color Fade
The mat does not contain aldehyde-based color fixatives (we are eco-friendly) and may fade slightly. Please wear dark-colored clothing to avoid staining light-colored clothing, which can be difficult to clean.

8. Why Did My Yoga Mat Become Slippery?
If left unused for an extended period and exposed to the air, a layer of decomposed oxides may form on the surface due to the eco-friendly nature of the mat. This layer of oxides can impair its anti-slip functionality.
Therefore, before reusing the mat, please scrub it thoroughly, allow it to dry completely, and then use it again.
